Job Description

The People amp; Culture Manager will ensure that our people are provided with best-in-class experiences. You will build upon and execute a strategy to promote an innovative, high performing, and supportive culture that aligns with the strategic priorities of the organization. In this role you will support the Chief People Officer in, identifying, developing, and implementing key HR initiatives that will substantially enhance the success of our business globally, ensuring we engage, develop and retain our key talent. You will be responsible for:

What your role will look like:

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve our people's experience. Assess current programs and propose innovative ways to improve existing ones, e.g. onboarding, professional development, performance management, new HR initiatives, etc. Maintaining and promoting relationships and people’s experiences within the wider HR colleague and teams, be it through feedback, personal growth, equality, recognition etc.
  • Monitor and track team member engagement through the Company’s engagement platform, engaging with feedback and suggesting new strategies and initiatives to improve scores if necessary.
  • Analyze and communicate engagement results internally, as well as communicating actions and ongoing initiatives to all employees. Through the way you navigate tough conversations, you’ll be expected to lead with a people centric and culture-forward approach to resolve challenges.
  • Drive practical solutions to organizational and people development challenges that we may come across
  • Champion the leadership and management development to increase the capabilities of leaders and managers throughout
  • Business Partnering: Partner up and support the management team in any people related matters they might need to discuss and actions they might need help in taking.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process for key roles, assist in identifying and addressing talent requirements to onboarding new hires, always looking to further improve the candidate journey, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Performance Management/Learning and Development: Work with managers to re-enforce the importance of continuous feedback with people, through tools which have been implemented, guide managers in setting measurable targets and manage the process of calibration and performance bonus payouts.
  • Learning amp; Development: Identify organisational training requirements and design/structure development opportunities to enable all team members to grow in their roles and bridge the industry knowledge gap. Support talent management activities and ensure succession and development plans are in place for key roles.
  • Employee Support: Take a pro-active approach to supporting employees at all levels of the organization from c-suite to the more junior employees, including acting as a trusted People Advisor to management in order to build and maintain a high performing and engaged team.
  • Employer Branding: Managing and communicating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), promoting it within the team internally, as well as externally through our digital channels.
  • Policies and Guidelines: Design, develop, implement, communicate, and update company guidelines based on a solid understanding of employment standards and laws.
  • Carry out admin tasks if and when required which might include reporting, compensation management, vacation tracking, updating our HRIS system (BambooHR), working permits and other people related admin tasks.

Who you are:

  • Prior experience in a People amp; Culture role;
  • A minimum of 3+ years of HR experience in the above mentioned areas;
  • Prior gaming or tech industry experience will be a plus;
  • A degree or relevant qualification in HR;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for making a positive impact on being part of a team which creates a learning environment and the best possible experience for it's employees
  • The ability to identify innovative HR practices and activate initiatives in line with business needs
