Malta Air is now recruiting for a Flight Safety Officer who will work with our Flight Safety department based in our Head Office in Malta. Reporting to the Safety amp; Security Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior experience as an Airbus pilot.to further strengthen the Compliance Monitoring Functions in the Malta Air Head office in Malta (Pieta).
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Monitor, administer and action as appropriate safety occurrence/ incident/ accident reports
- The Flight Safety Officer is the primary point of contact for Local Air Safety Group Representatives
- Provide SMS training/briefing as necessary
- Assist in the development of Safety TV content
- Monitor, analyse and respond to safety and security related queries from crew members
- Monitor and review all confidential reports
- The Flight Safety Officer is responsible for notifying the regulatory authority of incidents as required
Requirements:
Line experience as an Airbus operating pilot is essential
Excellent communications skills
Good computer skills
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
