Job Description

Ryanair Holdings are currently recruiting for a dynamic, focused and results driven HR Manager to join the Malta Air Personnel department. The position can be based in either Malta or Italy

This is not a normal HR job. We are a lean organisation where everyone is expected to contribute to the bottom line. We need HR people with the commercial acumen and operational focus to survive and thrive in this busy, task-driven environment where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will gain outstanding experience and make a real contribution to the success of Europe’s favourite airline as we grow our business.

Duties include:

  • Manage a small team of HR professionals across the full range of HR tasks
  • Oversight of the day to day HR management of crews operating in Italy including HR paperwork, employee relations, payroll and legal cases
  • Management of Industrial Relations
  • Overseeing disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Management reporting

Requirements

  • At least 3 years HR experience
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Self-Starter with ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Italian employment law
  • Relevant Degree or Masters
  • Fluency in Italian is an advantage
  • PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
