A qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting skillset

• Provide technical support, guidance amp; training to members of the Finance team.
• Preparation of subsidiary/statutory accounts
• Provide support and guidance on IFRS accounting to subsidiary companies.
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Ensuring there is a strong control environment and that key controls and reconciliation processes are adequately maintained.
• Management of Group accounting policy
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Management reporting
• SOX controls and compliance
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent), with at least 3 years PQE.
• Experience of working through complex accounting issues.
• Excellent understanding of IFRS accounting standards and their application.
• Experience of project managing new IFRS standards desirable.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint is essential.
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
