Purpose of Position:
The main purpose of this role is to monitor, oversee, and deliver aerodrome associated training to employees engaged in aerodrome related activities.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Oversight and delivery of intra-departmental training for Aerodrome Safety and Compliance personnel, utilizing appropriate training methods.
- Conducting Aerodrome Safety and Compliance training for personnel involved in airfield-related duties.
- Providing information on training sessions, informing personnel about available training, and assisting with scheduling development plans for individuals and teams.
- Collaborating with aerodrome functional department management to establish annual training plans and ensuring timely execution.
- Ensuring that training documentation, whether digital or printed, is kept up-to-date.
- Identifying and incorporating changes/updates to EASA regulatory requirements into the MIA Aerodrome Training Manual (Part TRN - Aerodrome Manual).
- Ensuring the implementation of Part TRN of the Aerodrome Manual in accordance with established requirements and reporting to the Head of Aerodrome Safety and Compliance.
- Verifying that aerodrome functional departments update the training system within the central digital repository.
- Ensuring that Training Records adhere to established requirements outlined in the Aerodrome Manual (Part GEN Record Keeping).
- Assisting and participating in regulatory audits related to Training and Proficiency Checks.
- Participating in Aerodrome Training and Proficiency audit activities for MIA Departments and third parties operating on the aerodrome.
- Assisting aerodrome functional departments in identifying training courses from reputable aviation training organizations.
- Verifying the execution of proficiency check programs as documented in the MIA Aerodrome Manual Part TRN.
Requirements
Qualifications amp; Skills
- Holds a minimum of MQF level 5 certification.
- Prior experience in delivering training programs, developing training materials, and conducting proficiency checks.
- Strong understanding of aerodrome safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting training sessions and collaborating with various departments.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for ensuring accurate and up-to-date training documentation and records.
- Familiarity with digital training systems
- Familiarity with EASA regulations and certifications related to aerodrome operations.
- Knowledge of audit processes related to training and proficiency checks.
- Ability to identify changes in regulatory requirements and translate them into the Aerodrome Training Manual.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing issues related to training and proficiency.
