About the team amp; Growth opportunities in the team
As our Graphic Design Lead, you'll be the creative mind turning big ideas into visual stories that everyone can understand. Your day will be a mix of leading a small, dynamic team of 1-3 individuals and actively engaging in hands-on design work. We're looking for someone who's not only proficient with design tools but also gets excited about breaking down complex topics in technology, web, finance and more. What will you do
- Lead graphic design projects, such as infographics and article cover images
- Manage a small team of 1-3 people
- Design and simplify complex concepts visually
- Uphold visual standards and evolve brand and editorial design
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to create practical solutions
- Keep updated on design and industry trends
- Mentor and support team development
Requirements
- Proven experience in graphic design, particularly within editorial or related fields.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite definitely, Figma is a plus).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, effectiveness in visual communication and proficiency in data visualisation and infographics.
- Ability to guide and lead a small team (1-3 persons), with leadership and/or mentoring experience being a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of or a strong interest in technology, cryptocurrency, fintech, blockchain, artificial intelligence and emerging trends.
- Experience or skill in visualising complex information and concepts, making them accessible and engaging for a varied audience.
- Experience working with content in technology, finance, science, or data-heavy fields, understanding how to communicate complex and technical topics effectively.
