If that sounds interesting, we are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join us in our adventure.
In this role you will be responsible to lead the DevOps team, which includes:
- Lead, support, and grow the DevOps team.
- Identify priority and dependencies of tasks and break down complex work into manageable tasks.
- Supervise multiple DevOps related projects and assist and decide on way forward.
- Devise plans to improve possible bottlenecks or pain-points on the gaming platform and to ensure guaranteed scalability and reliability of the platform.
- Help and take ownership of upcoming projects related to the technical infrastructure in line with the company's future plans.
In addition, you will also actively participate technically in infrastructure related work, such as:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to core components within our infrastructure in particular AWS and Cloudflare.
- Improve our infrastructure monitoring and other components (such as Sentry) to help reduce the incidence of bugs in production.
- Take ownership of projects related to database administration (mainly MongoDB) Participate in code changes related to infrastructure components (TypeScript)
- Troubleshoot issues and improve our CI/CD platform including improving pipelines runner setup and also improving release tooling. Maintain gaming platform infrastructure as code.
- Ensure new components are duly maintained in configuration management.
- Participate in the company's disaster recovery processes and procedures.
- Liaise with the platform developers to assist in investigating issues and eliminating potential bottlenecks.
- Automate processes as requested by Technical Compliance and Security team Familiarize and keep updated best practices, technologies and tools related to our technology stack.
- Join the on-call team to help with addressing ongoing production incidents.
Requirements

- Coding skills (ideally in JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Previous experience working with some of the: AWS (Cloudformation, CloudWatch, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub.
- Experience with IaaC ideally with AWS CDK and Serverless framework.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare and ideally Cloudflare Workers
- Familiarity with MongoDB administration
