We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning amp; Analytics Manager to join our dynamic team in the gaming industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis activities to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for the gaming industry.
What your role will look like:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans and forecasts, incorporating inputs from various departments.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers and ensure accurate financial projections.
- Business Performance Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and drive financial efficiency.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate various business scenarios.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic and achievable financial targets.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the collection, validation, and interpretation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights for financial analysis.
- Communicate financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and their potential impact on financial performance.
Requirements
Who we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with a strong technical accounting background (preferably at least 3 years post-qualification experience).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, and other similar programming languages will be an asset.
- Gaming industry experience is a significant advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communications skills.
- Proactive and responsible attitude to workload with ability to work autonomously.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, ability to meet strict deadlines.
