Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Solution Architect (SharePoint, .NET) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert, who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out in the company’s premises and on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team onsite.
Your tasks
- Contribute to the solution architecture, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of IAS portfolio applications;
- Design and coordinate technical reviews, including reviews of design artefacts and source code reviews, addressing technical debt, and recommending alternative robust solutions where appropriate;
- Implement task automation and continuous integration (CI) /continuous delivery (CD) (CI/CD) for ICT projects;
- Monitor and report on application usage (analytics) as well as ensure appropriate security audits posture of the systems, including preparing and assisting for security audits;
- Lead and coordinate technical and feasibility assessments related to technical solutions and tools to host information systems (to be developed) and propose solutions to integrate applications between existing and newly developed information systems or third party tools.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, combined with professional experience of more than 10 years’ experience;
- Experience with SharePoint on-prem (2013/2016/2019/Hybrid) and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint PnP Framework (deployment templates), SharePoint site and list templates, SharePoint REST APIs, client-side web parts, custom actions and PowerShell;
- Experience in software development as required in one or more of the following: in .NET (framework 4.x and 6+), C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API;
- Experience in performing studies, leading to the design and implementation of a solution architecture;
- Experience in Web APIs and perform system integrations;
- Experience in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps and the Microsoft Graph API;
- Experience in search services or technologies such as Azure Cognitive Search (or similar);
- Experience in DevOps best practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD);
- Experience in one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js, Angular or React;
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Power Platform;
- Experience in different content management systems (such as Umbraco, Drupal, Orchard Core), and relevant architectures in an enterprise environment;
- Excellent command of the English language.
