Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a junior analyst to join the Sustainability amp; Analytics team.
The department is responsible for the Strategic Sustainability function of the airport amp; for any data that is disseminated to the public, for the preparation of reports, and for carrying out the analysis as requested - including forecasts, capacity studies, and passenger analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and should be willing to work in a high-performance culture.
Purpose of Position:
This position involves assisting in the analytic function of the department - compiling reports and conducting data analysis with the purpose of supporting management in their decision-making.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of functions, which include:
- Compiling reports and documentation for senior management as requested
- Compiling and validating data prior to it being disclosed to third parties and the public
- Analysing company data and providing intelligence to other departments in order to support them in their business decisions
- Carrying out market research activities and analysis whenever required
- Assisting in formulating and updating traffic forecasts and airport capacity studies.
Requirements
Qualifications amp; Skills
The ideal candidate must have:
- Good analytical skills and a sound knowledge of Excel
- Excellent writing skills
- The ability to present ideas, information and reports in a clear, concise format using narrative statements, spreadsheets, presentations and charts
- The ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Preferred educational background: Maths/ Statistics/ Operations Research or Economics
