We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic, fast-paced team in Malta and manage our payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage company payroll on a regular basis
- Ensure that the payroll system is accurate, up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in job status
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll processing, in a timely and professional manner
- Manage payroll-related queries from employees, and provide helpful and informative guidance as needed
- Produce regular payroll reports, as required by the company or individuals within the team
- Participate in career workshops to further develop your skills and knowledge in our focus area of human resource management
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Maltese Payroll processing
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and Maltese employment law
- Advanced level in MS Excel and other relevant software applications
- Fluency in English
