Malta International Airport plc is looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, and is willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Technical Services Department.

Purpose of Position:

The Company is seeking to recruit mechanical technicians with a focus on air conditioning/refrigeration and auto repair skills.

The Mechanical Technician will be part of the Facilities Team responsible for the upkeep of the company’s infrastructure, addressing faults, and implementing the preventive maintenance program.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that all faults are resolved in a timely, safe and efficient manner;
• Implementing preventive maintenance activities;
• Participating in infrastructural upgrades and improvements;
• Maintaining work records in accordance with company procedures and legislation;
• Controlling and monitoring systems.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a related field.
• Preference will be given to those in possession of an MCAST Advanced Diploma in Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning or equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge/experience of working with Microsoft Office applications.
• Respect for Health, Safety amp; Environmental aspects.
• A valid driving license.
